I've been a patient here since I was old enough to need an OB. I've always seen Jan as she was my mothers favorite through all of her pregnancies & etc. I recently had a miscarriage and went to the ER for all of my needs. I scheduled an appointment for a follow up with Jan to make sure everything was okay after the fact and to get on a mood stabilizer. As you can assume, I had just went through one of the most emotional and painful experiences in my life. I find it not only unprofessional but absolutely cold hearted that Jan felt the need to say "Maybe you should just wait until you have your own insurance." I literally could not believe those words came out of my mouth and didn't even comment because I was in utter shock. How degrading and low of a doctor I expected to comfort me and help me through get through this? I will NEVER step a foot into this establishment again. I have continuously dealt with caddy and judgemental office staff and doctors, and this was the final straw.
I have been going to Center for Women's Healthcare for years and this new crew, with the exception of lovely Jan, she has been with me for over 20 years, have been unbelievable.I will never go anywhere else. The most personable, but professional group of women doctors that I have ever encountered. Every single one of their bedside manner needs to be noted and other doctors should take course under them. I really mean it. I like to tell them they are the bed and breakfast of clinics! The difference between a hotel and a bed and breakfast is notable. Friendly, personalble and relaxing. I'm telling all of my friends. It's worth any drive they would have.
I have never been so pleased with a doctor! The staff is fantastic! Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Both offices I have visited, Carson City and Mount Pleasant, are very timely. I have never waited an obnoxious amount of time to get in to see the doctor. It is also great that Dr. Becher visits Mount Pleasant once a week, so if I can meet with her there, it's much more convenient. The only complaint I have is when I do have to drive to Carson City, but it is totally worth it! I HIGHLY recommend you check out the Center for Women's Healthcare!
Got here at 1 like I was suppose to for my 1:15 appointment. At 5 to 2:00 the finally took me in a room. Now 2:10 I'm still sitting here waiting for a Dr. Glad this isn't an emergency. Only missing my meeting at work.
